Just after graduation she began working at a local veterinary hospital where she stayed for 10 years. In May of 2012 she along with Dr. Neilan decided to open a veterinary hospital in Alcona.

It has been a very exciting time. Now that the hospital is open, she is happy that she is finally back to doing what she loves; helping pets live a happy and healthy life and promoting the human-animal bond.

During her time away from the clinic Dr. Paquette can be found spending time with her husband Rob and their two children Parker and Grace as well as her three dogs Crosby, Charlotte and Owen.
